We are of a strong belief that the culture of coffee-and-cookies should not only be confined to the suburbs. Not only can we bring it to Kasi, but we can also redefine it completely on our own terms. Our coffee beans are sourced from Brazil and Ethiopia. We then took enough time to create our own blend striking a perfect balance between the two. Hence our coffee tastes like no other...its just...Afrowimbi. Our cookies...are just made purely with lots of love and Africanacity.
We as Afrowimbi Lifestyle, we are a coffee and cookie shop based in Soweto (Diepkloof). We mainly specialize in selling biscuits and coffee. The 'wimbi' in our name (Afrowimbi) is Swahili for wave. So in essence, our name can be rephrased to African Wave. And that's what we truly are. A movement inspired by the electrifying wave which keeps Africa ever alive with possibilities. Our deepest hope is that you join in this wave and forever draw inspiration from the amazing culture in our continent.
